Teaching Assistant Required for October 2021

The Governors of our outstanding Catholic school are seeking to appoint a highly motivated enthusiastic, imaginative and reliable Teaching Assistant to support children’s learning and to join our highly motivated team, commencing October 2021.

The successful candidate will be required to work across the school and demonstrate -

- support of our Catholic ethos

-passion and motivation to raise standards for children at St. Mark’s

-willing to work in a team with others and be a good communicator

- suitable qualification: NVQ level 3 or equivalent

- excellent literacy and numeracy skills

- high levels of initiative, whilst being adaptable and flexible

- high expectations and a strong commitment to raising standards in education

Experience in supporting the delivery of phonics teaching would be highly beneficial.
