Teaching Assistant job summary
About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work alongside the teacher to help deliver stimulating and fulfilling lessons as well as working with smaller groups of
children from the class. Provide specific support to the teacher in the care
of pupils and management of the classroom. You should have an ability
to relate with children enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly to overcome
barriers relating learning to real life whist trying to broaden experience,
are all essential skills. The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working to support children’s learning,gained
in a relevant environment is preferred but not essential as training
will be provided
- Have the ability to lead the learning of groups of children
- Have passion, dedication and commitment
- Hold high aspirations for all children
- Have the ability to engage and inspire children
- Be an excellent role model
