Are you ready to make a difference to individual lives, supporting learning and community? We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support in classroom.

You will be joining a collaborative academy, which is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect.

 

As a Teaching Assistant for St Marychurch CofE Primary School in Torquay, you will work under the guidance of teaching staff with an agreed system of supervision, to implement work/care/support programmes in or out of the classroom to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teachers in the management of pupils.

St Marychurch CofE Primary and Nursery School is led by a newly appointed Headteacher, Mrs Bruten. Children are encouraged and given opportunities to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. The staff at St Marychurch CofE Primary and Nursery School strive to attain the very highest standards in Maths and English, whilst encouraging their pupils to become aspirational, responsible, creative and spiritual citizens.

 

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a calm and patient demeanour, who is committed to helping young people achieve their full potential. You will have had previous experience in working with children in a similar setting and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike.
