St Mary’s C of E Primary Academy and Nursery is a Multi-faith, multi-cultural, Ofsted rated good school located in Handsworth, Birmingham. As a church school our core Christian values are at the heart of everything that we do. In keeping with our chosen scripture Jeremiah 29:11.
We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for September2024, who will be welcomed into the role by a supportive, highly efficient team.
The successful candidate will:
Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils.
Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
Work specifically with a pupil who has cognitive and physical needs.
Assist with the personal care needs of pupils where appropriate in line with the guidance of the trust.
Will be friendly, flexible, professional and hardworking.
