Hours: 27.50 hours per week
Weeks: 38 weeks per annum + 1 training day per academic year
We wish to appoint approximately a Teaching Assistant to work with our SEND Team
supporting students who have needs relating to Communication and Interaction, Cognition
and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health and Physical and/or Sensory needs.
There may be an opportunity to work for part of the week supporting our specialist literacy
provision.
Personal skills would include
• A high level of patience
• Be able to empathise
• Good listening skills
• A good sense of humour
• An English and Maths qualification at C grade GCSE or above
Hours: Monday to Friday - 27.5 hours per week for 38 weeks per annum plus one training
day per academic year.
Required from: January 2020
A willingness and ability to offer time and energy to our wellbeing programme &/or extracurricular provision (which we believe adds significant value to our character based
approaches to education, including our Duke of Edinburgh and Ten Tors), will be taken into
consideration for applications.
