What skills and experience we're looking for
Main duties will be: To provide a high standard of physical, emotional and intellectual care for the children in the care of the setting; To work as key person (with support), building and maintaining a strong partnership with families in order for children’s needs to be met; Working as part of the nursey team in order to provide a safe learning environment in which individual children can play, develop and learn.
Experience of working in a nursery setting is essential, with a minimum Level 2 relevant and recognized qualification. Knowledge of child development and the EYFS curriculum is required, as is knowledge of child protection and safeguarding legislation. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to follow and understand instructions and relevant procedures and be enthusiastic, energetic and work well as part of a team.
