Teaching Assistant job summary
The school is looking to appoint a child centered, creative, inspiring and passionate Teaching Assistant who will support the teaching and learning alongside the Class Teacher.
The role will include supporting the teaching and learning to incorporate the needs of a range of learners. Support may be during lessons or intervention out of the class and can range from 1 to 1 to small group. Other requirements include, but are not limited to, supporting the Class Teacher in assessments, providing feedback to children, managing behaviour and helping to create orderly, supportive and attractive learning environments. The successful candidate should be willing to work across the Primary phase but, in the first instance, will be placed in our Year 2 class.
