We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work full time with our delightful children, starting on 1st January 2024.  Standens Barn  Primary School is a welcoming and friendly school which thrives on a team approach and a caring ethos. We place great value on the teaching and learning of core and foundation subjects whilst continually encouraging our children to be creative and to explore ideas through a variety of themed days and extracurricular clubs.

The hours are 19.5 per week, 38 weeks per year. Please note the salary quoted is the FTE.

As part of the role there will be 30 min lunch duties.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with primary aged children, preferably in a school environment. They will show enthusiasm for learning, initiative and have an understanding of the importance of supporting social and emotional development in children in order to maximise the achievements and well-being of our pupils.

The successful candidates will:

·       Have experience of working with children.

·       Have a creative outlook on supporting children to be successful and achieve all that they can.

·       High levels of organisation to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and success of all children

·       Have high expectations for all children

·       Promote the vision and values of Standens Barn Primary School
