What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors are seeking to appoint a caring, positive and experienced teaching assistant, who is patient and highly motivated to work independently and collaboratively with a focus on building a trustful relationship and in supporting the all-round needs of a Year 6 child with an EHCP for ASD across the week. The right candidate should possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and have a real interest and commitment in supporting the development of the whole child. The candidate should be someone who enjoys working with children with a range of needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups and has experience of doing this to get the best out of the children they are supporting.
