Taunton Deane Partnership College is a Pupil Referral unit. This means that we provide education for young people in the Taunton, Wellington and Wiveliscombe area who are unable to access their mainstream school. This may be for social and emotional reasons, for medical or mental health reasons, or because they have been Permanently Excluded. We also have a small cohort of young people who have SEMH needs and have been placed with us through the EHCP process. We work hard to ensure that all our students can access a broad and relevant curriculum and to support them into next steps, whether this is another school, college or the workplace. We take the needs of every vulnerable child and young person in our area very seriously and will work hard to ensure that no child or young person is left behind or forgotten.
