Position: Teaching Assistant
Salary: Grade 5 £16,237 - £16,893 pro rata (Term Time only)
Location: Pennine View School
Contract type: Permanent posts and Temporary posts until 31st August 2023
Contract type: Full-time and Part-time available
Closing date: Wednesday 8th June at noon
Interview date: Wednesday 15th June and Thursday 16th June

• Experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs
• Knowledge, skills and understanding of how to positively support pupil difficulties
• The skills to place pupil learning at the centre of all your practice
• The ability to make sound judgements on attainment & progress of pupils, assess and celebrate in their success.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to enthuse and motivate others
• Experience of delivering a diverse package of learning & pastoral support to pupils
• Ability to set appropriate and challenging targets for yourself and others
• Ability to make and take decisions both individually and as part of a team
• Ability to contribute to and share quality practice with other staff
• Commitment to partnership between staff, parents and pupils
• Grade C or above in both English & Maths GCSE or equivalent
