- Full time, part time: Working weeks: 39 weeks (Term Time) and Parent/Open evening as required. Working Hours: 37 hours per week (08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs and 08:00 – 15:30 Fri). Part Time Hours Considered (minimum 25 hours over 5 days)

- Band 3 FTE £26,182 - £28,440. Actual starting salary £22,456 with performance-based yearly increments available
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and committed Teaching Assistant who share the drive and passion necessary to ensure every student achieves their potential. The appointed candidates will begin their BA career at the Upper Academy supporting KS4 SEND students.
The successful candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with students and teachers on all levels. Previous work experience in a school or Academy is desired but not essential, however:
- you must have 5 GCSE Grade C or above including English and Mathematics
- be able to evidence the ability to work independently, using own initiative and be able to make decisions confidently
- have strong experience of office procedures and administration including MS Office
- have excellent interpersonal skills with clear and concise communication

We are two aspirational and ambitious Academies based in Essex, just 35 minutes from London. The Lower Academy specialises in the teaching of our students aged 11-14 whilst the Upper Academy specialises in our 14-19 year cohorts. The Academies are approximately 1 mile apart.
