What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about improving the life chances of children? Are you enthusiastic, energetic and determined to support every child to learn and reach their full potential? We have a range of teaching assistant roles across two of our Norwich-based schools. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is experienced as a Teaching Assistant, and is keen to develop and progress in their career. However, if we can see that you share our passion to make a difference but lack experience, we can offer the training and support needed to fulfil the role.

You will have:

  • A passion for working in schools.
  • Ideally experience working in a primary setting - though full training can be given
  • An ability to lead on interventions and discuss the impact of those interventions

What the school offers its staff

The HEART Education Trust is a Norwich based trust, consisting of four Primary schools with approximately 1,000 pupils. The Trust is committed to improving the life-chances of children, encouraging pupils to challenge themselves and hold high aspirations in their academic learning, personal and social development. Our Trust academies aim to ensure that our pupils are well prepared to make the most of future opportunities as citizens within an ever-changing world. We believe in personal accountability, integrity, resilience, intellectual curiosity, courage and creativity. These are the values we instil in our pupils, and the values of the people we want to join our team. We want to attract employees with high expectations of themselves and others, with a passion for life-long learning, and who are intrinsically motivated by public service.

We offer:

  • An opportunity to work in our fantastic communities and make a real difference to children's education.
  • A supportive environment with excellent CPD opportunities
  • The opportunity to be part of the a caring, child centred team
