Main Purpose:

  • Give support to students, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
  • Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of students
  • Promote students’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion

This role will involve contact with children and the post holder will be engaged in regulated activity relevant to children and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed. We will only submit a DBS application to the relevant disclosure service when a position is accepted.

We are currently a single Academy and actively promote collaboration with our feeder primary schools through the Trowbridge Schools’ Social Enterprise - Collaborative Schools Ltd and the West Wiltshire Alliance; a partnership of 8 secondary schools and Wiltshire College. Our school roll is rising significantly each year and our reputation has accelerated over the last two years.
