We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a position at our new Promise School. The new Promise School will be a special free school opening in September 2022! At full capacity, the school will cater for 100 children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The designated age range is 4-16. The Promise School is a brand-new Free School, which is an all-through special school for children with SEMH, aged 4-16. Opening in September 2022, initially in interim accommodation on the sites of Okehampton Community College and St James C of E Primary School, before moving into the purpose-built brand-new school at Easter 2023. The school will initially open with 40 pupils, 20 in KS2 and 20 in KS3, before expanding to 70 pupils for the academic year 2023/24 and 100 pupils in the academic year 2024/25. 

The school will serve the West Devon and South Hams areas, with admissions through the local authority, through the EHCP process.  At the Promise, we will help all of our children and young people to acknowledge their past, build a successful future, and feel happy and safe in their present.
