What skills and experience we're looking for
Overview of the role of Teaching Assistant:
mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum based learning in the classroom and outreach through outdoor activities
assisting with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on social and emotional health assessment tools
daily reports on learners progress and barriers to learning
work collaboratively with members of SLT, Teachers and Advocates to support students and their parents
interaction with parents/care givers on a regular basis
We would love to hear from people who:
are passionate champions of vulnerable students and those with SEND
have strong english and maths skills
would like the opportunity to support students outside of a mainstream environment
would like the opportunity to progress within the school and obtain career focused professional qualifications
actively contribute to school safeguarding and welfare procedures
