What skills and experience we're looking for

Overview of the role of Teaching Assistant:

  • mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum based learning in the classroom and outreach through outdoor activities

  • assisting with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on social and emotional health assessment tools

  • daily reports on learners progress and barriers to learning

  • work collaboratively with members of SLT, Teachers and Advocates to support students and their parents

  • interaction with parents/care givers on a regular basis

We would love to hear from people who:

  • are passionate champions of vulnerable students and those with SEND

  • have strong english and maths skills

  • would like the opportunity to support students outside of a mainstream environment

  • would like the opportunity to progress within the school and obtain career focused professional qualifications

  • actively contribute to school safeguarding and welfare procedures
