Teaching Assistant job summary

Waterbeach Community Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will work as part of a strong team. The role will be for 25.75 hours per week and will be worked over 3 mornings (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) and two full days (Wednesday and Friday)

The actual ours of work will be:

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday ~ 8.30 - 12.45

Wednesday & Friday ~ 8.30 - 12.45 and 13.30 - 15.15

We are looking for someone who:

Is caring patient and enthusiastic, with good communication skills and has high expectations
Has a therapeutic approach to supporting pupil’s behaviour and learning
Is able to support individual pupils 1:1
Is able to lead interventions with individuals and groups of pupils
Is proactive, highly motivated and a good team player

Salary details:

Teaching Assistant - Level 2, Scale point 5, starting at £14.63 per hour
