Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in the classroom. We are seeking an individual who can support our teachers to motivate and encourage our pupils with an interest and proven experience in speech and language development.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team to support our pupils with Speech and Language development who is calm, confident and has the skills to be able to support classroom activities safely and can create a positive learning environment. The role may provide support to the teacher within a class as well as supporting groups of pupils in emotional, social and wellbeing based activities. We are an outward facing academy with great staff, pupils and parents.You will have:
Maths and English GCSE Grade A- C or equivalent
Experience of establishing positive relationships with students and the ability to empathise with their needs
A strong commitment to supporting children's learning
A patient, resourceful, enthusiastic and flexible approach
