St. Martin's CE Primary Academy is a diverse and happy school serving children from across the city of Salisbury. The children are known locally for their inclusive approach to fellow pupils , and their positive behaviour. The school itself has been on a recent and rapid journey of improvement. Since April 2024, a new Executive Headteacher, Head of School, SENDCo and Deputy Headteacher have been appointed by the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust. The Executive Headteacher, Ollie Martindale, also leads at St. Peter's CE Primary Academy and the two settings work very closely on all areas of school improvement. The successful candidate would join an already committed, vibrant staffing team at a very exciting time: we are firmly on a journey to a positive OFSTED inspection.
This is a part time position of 25 hours per week: Monday to Friday 1pm - 6pm, term time only (38 weeks per year). This exciting role will consist of Teaching Assistant duties from 1pm until the end of the academic day, where you will then take over the Afterschool Club responsibilities.
