What skills and experience we're looking for
The purpose of the role is to support and deliver elements of learning to students on a one to one, small group or class basis, in collaboration with class teachers. This role will include both teaching assistant and HLTA responsibilities. We are looking for someone who:
- has experience of working with children in Key Stage 1
- is flexible, caring, calm, creative and resilient
- can demonstrate good communication, listening and questioning skills
- has an insight into developing social and emotional skills
- is committed to inclusion
- will play a role in promoting high standards in teaching and learning and behaviour within the class and across the school
