Teaching Assistant with Midday Supervisor duties job summary
Waterbeach Community Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will work as part of a strong team. The role is likely to be in Early Years and will be for 27.5 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and 3.75 hours per week as a Midday Supervisor
We are looking for someone who:
- Is caring patient and enthusiastic, with good communication skills and has high expectations
- Has a therapeutic approach to supporting pupil’s behaviour and learning
- Is able to support individual pupils 1:1
- Is able to lead interventions with individuals and groups of pupils
- Is proactive, highly motivated and a good team player

Salary details:
Teaching Assistant - Level 2, Scale point 5, starting at £13.87 per hour (subject to April 24 pay award)
Level 3 would be considered for an excellent candidate with appropriate experience.
Midday Supervisor - NJC Scale 1C, Point 2 - £11.59 per hour (subject to April 24 pay award)
