Teaching Assistant with Personal Care job summary
We are looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will contribute to the inclusion work within school by helping to raise standards of achievement for pupils with SEND.
The post will include supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioral difficulties across KS3 and KS4, both in class and on a 1-1 or small group basis within our Student Support Centre. Experience of working with primary school age pupils and first aid is desirable, but training will be given to the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. The School looks to employ well-qualified staff who are willing to contribute to the full life of the school and who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Safeguarding checks will be undertaken during the recruitment process.
