We have the following positions available:-
1 x Class Teaching Assistant - 27.5hrs per week – permanent
2 x 1:1 Teaching Assistants – 27.5hrs per week - temporary, linked to High Needs Funding
The salary is on KR4, Full Time Equivalent £21,389, Actual Salary £13,440, £11.09 per hour, term time only. Class cover is paid at an additional £9 per hour.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our small village primary school with a friendly community feel where we value and support staff development.
The successful candidate must have:
- Knowledge and experience of working with KS1 and KS2.
- Be able to cover PPA.
- Knowledge and experience of Phonics desirable but training available.
- Knowledge and experience of planning, teaching and delivering small group interventions.
- Enthusiasm and be committed to the highest of expectations for all children.
- A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Characteristics which represent our school Christian values; Kindness, Forgiveness, Peace, Courage and Love.
- A willingness to work collaboratively alongside other schools within the DEALT and DLA.
- A good level of Maths and English grade C GCSE or equivalent.
- A willingness to assist in a mixed year group class or single year groups of 15 children for maths.
- Be a learner themselves – open to continuing professional development opportunities.
- Be a committed team member, show initiative and proactively work to improve their practice.
- Very high expectations of behaviour and be committed to establishing positive relationships with every child.
