Teaching Assistant job summary

The governors would like to appoint a member of staff to the role of teaching assistant to work in our primary school with flexibility but initially in KS1. The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of how to support young children in their development. Experience of working with young children and those who have additional needs is desirable. We are looking for a member of staff who is a good team player and clear of how to develop children’s language and communication skills under the guidance of the teachers. The candidate will have the ability to form positive relationships with vulnerable children quickly.
