What skills and experience we're looking for
The Head teacher and her supportive leadership team are looking for a good to outstanding classroom teaching assistant to support in a Year 1 class, who can work under the supervision of the class teacher and senior leaders to provide continuous improvement of teaching and learning for all children. With a clear focus on raising standards, the ideal candidate will be able to work with the class teacher to track performance of children and use data to inform areas of focus.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work in partnership with the class teacher and SENDco on identified priorities for identified pupils.
- Work with targeted children to ensure they make good to outstanding progress.
- Meet as arranged and / or as necessary with the class teacher, members of SLT and SENDco.
To undertake relevant training and professional development in line with the school development plan
