What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for great Teaching Assistants to join our team of education support staff.
Belleville Wix Academy is a great place to work. We are situated in Battersea, between Lavender Hill and Clapham Common, with great transport links and nearby amenities. Belleville Wix Academy is part of the Quality First Education Trust, a successful multi-academy trust (MAT).
You will support our pupils to access learning, and provide general support to teachers in the management of resources, pupils and the classroom. Your work may include work with small groups or individual pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
We are looking for people who:
- are committed and reliable;
- are positive, enthusiastic, flexible, helpful and friendly;
- have good literacy, numeracy, communication and IT skills;
- have some experience of supporting or working with children;
- are interested in education and child development;
- ideally have some experience of working in a primary school (not essential).
