- Have at least grade C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Are good at building relationships and are a team player;
- Are organised and enthusiastic;
- Have experience of working in a school environment (desirable but not essential)
- Would like to pursue a possible career in education or working with young people

Kingdown School is a forward-looking and innovative school that is seeking to appoint two Teaching Assistant to join our Curriculum Support Team, on a fixed term basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to join our dedicated team of Teaching Assistants in this fantastic 11-18 school. We are immensely proud of our school and are looking for staff who are committed to helping all young people believe, aspire and achieve.
Kingdown School is situated in Warminster in the heart of beautiful rural Wiltshire. We are an academy under the Acorn Education Trust; a multi-academy trust consisting of 14 primary schools and three secondary schools. It provides exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on the collective experience of a trust. The posts will involve working in mainstream classrooms with a range of students from across the secondary age range who may have Special Educational Needs. The position also entails working in our Learning and Welfare hub to support students in small groups with learning to read. Training and support will be given by our expert and friendly team.
