Teaching Assistants
We are recruiting for both qualified and unqualified
25 classroom hours per week, worked over 5 days
£18,887 pro-rata, NJC point 3 for unqualified Teaching Assistants, term time only.
Actual salary £11,160, to include 5 INSET days,
plus additional hours/duties to be confirmed

We would consider Full-Time or Part-Time applicants.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our excellent team from Sept 2022. You will work mainly in the classroom under the direction of the teacher. Balcarras is an excellent place to work and to develop your expertise as a teaching assistant. It is a friendly school, exceptionally well-equipped and with a strong commitment to training and development. Whoever is appointed will be assured of a warm welcome and consistent support. Induction and continuing professional development are both outstanding.
The successful candidates will assist in the educational and social development of young people at an important stage in their lives. You must have a caring demeanour, good communication skills and be able to work flexibly with fellow professionals to support the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs. A qualification, relevant experience or an interest in working with young people is required.
The posts are term time only (to include in-service days and meetings as required) and are variable hours’ contracts.
