Cirencester Kingshill School is oversubscribed. The school has an excellent team of teachers and support staff, motivated pupils, supportive parents and an active Governing Body. We also have excellent facilities and resources. The school offers a variety of CPD and INSET training programmes are scheduled annually. Performance Management is structured into the school calendar. Opportunities are also given to work, collaborate and visit other schools to establish partnerships.
Support staff are automatically enrolled into the LGPS (Local Government Pension Scheme). Onsite parking is available.
Teaching Assistants (Qualified or Unqualified) job summary
The posts would suit applicants who may be considering a career in teaching or have experience of working with young people.
Hours of work: 9.05am – 3.00pm Monday – Friday (Term time, including Inset days). Fixed Term Contracts (1st September 2021 – 31st August 2022).
Salary dependent on experience and qualification:
Unqualified TA: Grade D point 3 – 6 £18,562 – £19,698 pro rata. Actual salary per annum is £11,787.11 – £12,508.48.
Qualified TA: Grade F point 6 – 12 £19,698 – £22,183 pro rata. Actual salary per annum is £12,508.48 – £14,086.49.

Cirencester Kingshill School, opened in 1976, as a purpose built 11-16 co-educational comprehensive. It is situated on the south east side of Cirencester approximately one mile from the centre, on a spacious site bordering open countryside. The school became an Academy in August 2011.
