Teaching Assistants job summary
Teaching Assistants - Teaching & Learning and Behaviour Support
A number of roles within Key stages 2, 3, 4, our Personalised Education Team (PET) and Attendance and Reintegration Centre (ARC)
This role will include delivering learning programmes and supporting individual pupils, small groups (and whole classes during the short term absence of teachers). You will be expected to support the teacher in meeting the individual specific needs of the pupils and support the pupils to regulate their behaviour.
In all roles, you will fully participate in the life of the school, assisting where needed, supporting our most vulnerable pupils. We want candidates who are able to see the possibilities of all our exceptional learners and to develop a provision to make them thrive.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to support children and be educated to National Qualifications Framework Level 3 standard, e.g. NVQ 3, A/AS levels or equivalent. Candidates are asked to link their skills and experience to address each point on the Person Specification in their application.
