We wish to appoint three Teaching Assistants to work with our SEND Team supporting students who have needs relating to Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health and Physical and/or Sensory needs.

Personal skills would include:

• A high level of patience
• Be able to empathise
• Good listening skills
• A good sense of humour
• An English and Maths qualification at C grade GCSE or above

Hours: Monday to Friday - 30 hours per week for 38 weeks per annum plus one training day
per academic year.

As a Church of England Aided School, in cases of equal merit preference will be given to
candidates who are in sympathy with the foundation. The school is committed to promoting
and safeguarding the welfare of its students.

A willingness and ability to offer time and energy to our extra-curricular offer which we
believe will add significant value to our character-based approaches to education, including
D of E. will be taken into consideration for applications.

This role is subject to DBS clearance.
