Working pattern
- Part time: The posts are both part-time, fixed-term positions. Job 1: 6 hours per week: 9am – 12pm on Tuesday and Friday. Job 2: 12 hours per week: 9am – 12pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Hours may be amended/cease if the child that they're employed to support leaves the school .
Contract type
- Fixed term - 1 year initally. Hours may be amended or cease if the child leaves the school.
Full-time equivalent salary
- Between £23,114 - £25,979
What skills and experience we're looking for
Do you have the qualities to encourage curiosity and a love of learning within our warm and welcoming school community? St. James’ and Ebrington CofE Primary School, part of the NCSF Trust, is seeking to appoint 2 Teaching Partners who will motivate, support and challenge pupils to reach their full potential. This position will be based at the St. James' site of St. James’ and Ebrington CofE Primary School.
We are looking for excellent Teaching Partners who:
- Have the desire, skills, and knowledge to support children so all children can flourish
- Have high expectations of pupils’ attainment, progress and behaviour
- Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant/ Teaching Partner
- Is knowledgeable about scaffolding and interventions to support pupils
- Understands how to support children with SEND needs
- Is an enthusiastic team member with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Supports our Christian vision
