About the role The successful candidate will be expected to work with and support individual pupils or groups of children on specific activities or programmes under the direction of the teacher. To develop an understanding of the specific needs of pupils to be supported To aid pupils’ to learn as effectively as possible in both group situations and individually To guide and assist the development of children’s social behaviour, attitudes, self-esteem and skills Support pupils during break and lunchtime To monitor, assess, record and report on students’ achievement progress and developmentSupporting documents

Our Teaching Assistants, support the Class Teacher whilst offering insight, advice and
guidance to help students break down their work and develop the academic and social skills needed to thrive in their classrooms.
