St Matthews Primary, Derriford are looking to appoint adaptable, motivated and tenacious Teaching Assistants who would like to join our dedicated team and contribute to ensuring our school continues to flourish and that every child reaches their full potential.

Our Teaching Assistants play an important role in the education of our pupils. Your role would be based across the school but predominantly in Reception, and Year 1 and 2 classes, supporting our wonderful children with early reading and phonics. You would work collaboratively with our teaching team to support all pupils to work towards achieving their individual outcomes and maximising their learning opportunities both within and outside of the school setting. If you have high expectations of student achievement and behaviour, good communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a team we would love to hear from you.
