Teaching Associates KS2 job summary
Teaching Associate (KS2 Class based)
Are you interested in teaching? Do you want classroom experience before applying to take it further? Have you got skills to share with the next generation? Can you be creative and show initiative?
Then take a look at what we have to offer you…
We are seeking to recruit class based KS2 Teaching Associates working in one of our vibrant town schools: The Grove or Brownlow Primaries, based in the beautiful market town of Melton Mowbray. Monday - Friday, term time only plus the 5 inset days (39 weeks). Specific hours can be discussed with the schools directly.
We wish to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistants who will work as an associate in the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher.
We are looking for people who are reflective and skilled and can motivate and encourage children as required. You might want to consider this as a stepping stone into teaching and apply to train within our Academy Trust or you might want to develop your role across our schools in the future.
You will be required to provide support for teaching and learning activities. This may include providing general support for whole class learning activities or supporting individuals or small groups of pupils to reinforce new skills or knowledge.
Experience of working with children with SEN and knowledge of Child Protection and Health and Safety policies are essential.
