We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated 1to1 Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work with a team of highly committed teachers to support and develop learner progress. You will work alongside a team of experienced SENCo's and a learning development team, furthering your experience within a supportive coaching environment.
The Role
As a 1to1 Teaching and Learning Assistant you will work with learners with a range of learning, social and emotional needs in a variety of curriculum areas. The role will involve working on a 1to 1 basis with occasional whole class and small group work to develop effective learning, encourage independence and promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
This position is Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4pm. Term time plus teacher training days.

What we are looking for
The ideal candidate would have:
- at least 5 A-C /4-9 GCSEs including English and Maths or equivalent
- an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent knowledge, experience and skills
- experience of working with young people in a learning environment
- an understanding of the varying needs of learners and how to support these

Wootton Park Academy Trust, trading as Wootton Park School
This is an exciting time for the Trust as we realise our ambition to build on our existing outstanding school, Wootton Park School and develop the Trust to include additional outstanding schools in Northampton and the surrounding areas. Wootton Park Academy Trust currently comprises of two schools with a third proposed for 2027.
