What skills and experience we're looking for

Bampton CE Primary School, recently rated Good with Outstanding Early Years provision by Ofsted in January 2023, are looking to appoint enthusiastic full-time teaching partners to join our dedicated and passionate team. The successful candidates will be expected to deliver the curriculum in a dynamic and engaging way through various activities, under the direction of the class teacher as well as providing pastoral support by building trusting and positive relationships with children. Our teaching partners support positive playtimes through supervising our whole school Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) programme. Positions are initially for either Early Years and Key Stage One.

What is it like to work at our school?

  • “It is the people that make my job enjoyable; every member of staff at Bampton are so supportive and friendly.” (Teaching Partner)
  • Pupils embody the school’s value of being the ‘best we can be’. Their learning is important to them, and they feel safe to strive to achieve well in school. All pupils, especially those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), benefit from being fully included in school life. They have warm relationships with staff and trust that the adults in school want what is best for them. Pupils thrive because of the high ambitions that radiate throughout the school. Their resilience and confidence underpin the positive learning behaviours that they have. (OFSTED Jan 23)

Watching them growing up each school year is a real privilege.” “I love sharing those moments with the children when they overcome something that has been challenging for them.
