Team Leader of Art job summary

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and innovative new Team Leader of Art. This is a wonderful opportunity for those seeking career progression or a move from an existing position of leadership.

The post will involve leading and teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for and firm commitment to securing exceptional outcomes in Art. We are looking for a colleague with the highest ambitions and standards, who is passionate about nurturing talent, encouraging creative expression and supporting students in developing their artistic skills.

All students study Art for an hour a week in years 7 and 8. Students then have the option to continue their choices in years 9 to 11 and can opt for Art or Photography GCSE. The successful candidate will be able to teach Art to GCSE and ideally will have strong working knowledge of GCSE Photography.
