What skills and experience we're looking for

It is an exciting time to join the team at St Clere’s Secondary School! We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic qualified teacher (holding QTS or equivalent and a relevant degree) to teach technology, including Construction and/or Engineering, as well as being the lead for Key Stage 3.

The successful candidate will be creative, innovative, efficient, and committed to improving outcomes. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and lead a highly motivated team of superbly collaborative teachers committed to a progressive and stimulating approach to teaching and learning, and to instilling a passion for the subject in our students. The successful candidate will hold QTS, applications from teachers with the ambition to progress through the trust network of the school are welcome, as Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust is committed to supporting the right candidates who have a keen interest in seeking career development.

This is a great chance for a candidate with excellent subject knowledge to join our teaching team to help deliver Technology, whilst simultaneously leading Key Stage 3.

The opening of our brand new sixth form at St Clere’s School in 2023 was a very exciting opportunity for new staff, as well as young people in the local area. We are incredibly lucky to have highly skilled and collaborative teachers who have experience in teaching post 16 at St Clere’s and we welcome the opportunity for new members of staff to join our pre-existing team.
