Technology Technician job summary

We are looking for a Design and Technology Technician to join our supportive and talented team at John Cabot Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.

This role is 25.5 hours per week, term time only + 5 inset days.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in the post, the Design and Technology Technician will provide technical assistance and support to meet the practical requirements of the Design and Technology (DT) curriculum. They will prepare, provide, maintain and manage the necessary resources and information required to enable, safe and engaging practical activities to be undertaken by staff and students. Maintain an appropriate Health and Safety culture ensuring that all relevant Health and Safety regulations and guidelines are adhered to at all times.

About the Cabot Learning Federation

The Cabot Learning Federation is a diverse Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) in the South West. We currently sponsor eight secondary academies and eight primary academies, an all through provision, Digitech Studio School and a discrete Post 16 provision and an alternative provision which consists of one primary and two secondary phases.
