What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Technology Technician to join our dedicated team and support our thriving Technology department.
As a Technology Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our teachers and students within the Technology Department. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
The Technology Technician is required to work under supervision and direction as part of a professional team. The ideal candidate will support the effective teaching and delivery of Technology by providing technical assistance, through the preparation and day to day maintenance of teaching areas and equipment for pupils.
The role includes:
• Prepare and organize materials and resources for practical lessons.
• Maintain, clean, and repair tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Support teachers and students during practical lessons and projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in the development of teaching aids and resources.
• Provide technical support and guidance to students working on projects.
• Administrative tasks
