What skills and experience we're looking for

• As a Cover Supervisor you will communicate, distribute and supervise work that has been set by the teacher, in accordance with school policy.

• You will manage the behaviour of the pupils, whilst they are undertaking the work, to ensure a constructive environment and report back to the teacher.

• You will respond to questions from pupils about process and procedures, but excluding lesson content.

• You will be required to deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures.

• You will collect the completed work at the end of the lesson and return it to the appropriate teacher.

• When not providing cover, you will support the Office Manager with admin based tasks in the School Office to ensure the smooth running of the school.
