This is a unique opportunity to lead on the Developing Local Provision funded project for North West secondary schools. In this role you will be enhancing provision for pupils across the fourteen North West secondary schools. The main element of this project is leading two literacy intervention hubs, one based at St John Wall Catholic School, the other at Hamstead Hall Academy. There are a number of other DLP activities that you would also oversee, including CPD, SENDCO Network meetings, SEND attendance and Inclusion. There is a team of established staff in in place already delivering on these.
Working time: Part-time (0.8 FTE). 2 days per week at Saint John Wall Catholic School and 2 days per week at Hamstead Hall Academy.
In addition to this 0.8 FTE role, you would undertake SENDO consultancy for 0.2 FTE of your time at St John Wall Catholic School. You would have a small team of Pupil coaches and a nominated teacher to support you in this role. Hamstead Hall Academy is a secondary school within the Hamstead Hall Academies Trust, with a track record of outstanding academic results and an excellent reputation in the community. One of the key hallmarks of Hamstead Hall Academy is the positive, friendly and supportive ethos which enables all pupils to make progress. In it’s last Ofsted inspection (Jan 2019) Hamstead Hall Academy were judged to be ‘Good’ in all areas.
