TEMPORARY FULL TIME KS1 TEACHER – MATERNITY LEAVE job summary
Newlaithes Nursery & Infant School is a successful two-form entry infant school with a friendly, vibrant school community. The Governors wish to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher for a key stage one class on a fixed-term contract September 2020 to July 2021 or until the return of the post holder, whichever is sooner.
Required from 1st September 2020, we are looking for someone who:
• loves children and is determined for them to succeed and achieve their best.
• is thoughtful, kind and caring and can motivate and inspire young children and adults alike.
• can think creatively and strategically to bring about positive learning experiences for children.
• is able to work in partnership with the whole school team.
• is a talented teacher with recent and relevant experience of teaching or placement in key stage 1.

We are a friendly, happy school in Carlisle, situated in the Morton area, West of the city. Our catchment area contains a mixture of private and social housing. We are immediate neighbours with Newlaithes Junior School, with whom we maintain good links.
