Job summary

Required for September 2020, an energetic and enthusiastic teacher of Science to teach across all abilities at Key Stage 3 & 4. The successful applicant will be required to teach physics up to Y10 triple science standard and, for suitable candidates, there may also be opportunity to teach A level and Y11 physics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful department and become a proactive member of this dedicated team.

About Silverdale School

Silverdale School is an extremely popular and high-achieving 11-18 comprehensive in the south west of Sheffield and is now the founding school of Chorus Education Trust. The school is rated as ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted 2014) and achieved the best GCSE results in 2018 of any state school in Sheffield.
