What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Media and Film Studies. We currently have an opportunity for a Teacher of Media and Film Studies to join us for a part time maternity cover role for up to one year. You may be an ECT seeking your first role in a supportive school or an experienced Teacher seeking a new role within a creative and forward-thinking team. The ability to teach another subject would be an advantage.
The media and film studies department currently occupies two classrooms in Myton’s ‘digital wing’,
alongside the IT and computing classrooms. Each classroom has 30 desktop computers, complete with
full Adobe Creative Suite, which students can now access at home. Each classroom has a Promethean
smartboard. We have several DSLR cameras, Manfrotto tripods, Gimbal Steadicams and a green
screen. We are well resourced and constantly strive to develop more.
