We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate, to grow and enhance our Religious Studies team. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Religious Studies to KS3 and 4, the department also delivers A level Philosophy, Religion and Ethics, as well as the Extended Project Qualification. Current ITT candidates are welcome to apply.

Ofsted (2017) found pupils at Swanshurst to be “happy, well cared for and that they secure excellent academic and personal outcomes” they described the girls as “polite, respectful and courteous”. Needless to say, we are incredibly proud of them and of all our staff who contribute to the “purposeful learning culture within the school that characterises the work of staff and pupils.”

Swanshurst is a large, outstanding school for girls aged 11-19 years. We offer excellent support and CPD for staff at all stages of their career.
