The District CE Primary School is at the heart of the local community. We have a beautiful school building, with a long history and extensive grounds for the children to enjoy. We provide an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, a bespoke curriculum and excellent pastoral and early intervention support to meet the needs of our children and families.

Our District learner values were chosen by the children to reflect their positive attitudes to learning and excellent standards of behaviour. We welcome children into our District family, from two to eleven years, and we aim to provide them with learning experiences and wider enrichment opportunities, which they will cherish for the rest of their lives. Our extended service offer, including breakfast, after-school club and nursery wrap around care, provides a quality service to meet the needs of many of our families.

Our school mission statement: The caring path to achievement, reflecting the values of Christ, is underpinned by our key values of friendship, trust, compassion, love, forgiveness and endurance. We have a long-standing partnership with St John the Baptist Church in the centre of Earlestown.

We regularly consult with pupils, parents and staff to review our practice and to continue to strive to be even better. Our parents are highly positive about The District CE:

‘Both of our children are extremely happy and making excellent progress. The nurturing, Christian ethos that you instill shines through. They regularly come home and talk about the school’s values, such as friendship and kindness and why they are so important. I have no doubt that the work going on in your school is making a positive and lasting difference to the community you serve. We couldn’t be happier with a school and wouldn’t wish for them to be anywhere else’.

We are a part of the Rainbow Education Multi Academy Trust.
Ofsted rating October 2024 - Good with Outstanding in Personal Development
