The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to lead our phonics programme.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to take on the role of TLR 2 with responsibility for phonics. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our phonics program, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of the phonics curriculum.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of phonics teaching and learning.
Provide support and training for staff in phonics instruction.
Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and track student progress.
Work collaboratively with the English Hub to maintain fidelity to the Little Wandle program.
Engage with parents and carers to support phonics learning at home.
Stay up to date with current research and best practices in phonics education.
Person Specification
Essential:
Proven experience in teaching phonics effectively.
Strong knowledge of phonics programs and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and inspire colleagues.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
Ability to analysis summative data.
Ability to track trends in data and plan subsequent interventions needed
Can adhere to deadlines for data analysis and submission
Desirable:
Experience in delivering training or professional development.
Familiarity with data analysis and tracking student progress.
Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
