Tradesperson job summary

We are seeking a candidate with a proactive attitude, proficient in undertaking routine maintenance, repair, and small scale building work who can add value to our school community. Knowledge and confidence in risk assessment and method statements is desirable, although training support will be available.

As an 18 school Trust, the work of the tradesperson will be varied. The role involves both reactive and proactive maintenance duties, referring works to specialist contractors where required, ensuring value for money and compliance with legislative responsibilities. During the school holidays, the post holder may reasonably expect to be undertaking, or supporting, project works at any of our schools.

Specific training in a specialist or relevant trade is desirable and should be indicated within your application.

Whilst all of our current schools are within a circa 40 minute drive of each other [Faringdon, Witney, Abingdon], due to the requirement to travel between school sites, the post holder must hold a full UK driving licence.
